Harold Blaylock, his wife Sheila and their two small children, Michele and Keith, came to Massillon in 1971. They were a passionate couple full of zeal and a burden to do a work for God. They worked and prayed and God began to bless. It wasn’t long until they purchased property at 3542 12th ST NW in Massillon and began to build a building that would seat 250 people. In 1979 their home was blessed by the addition of Chad Anthony. In 1979 they started another building project and in 1980 they moved into our present facility that seats 420. In 2004 we were blessed to install Pastor Blaylock as our presiding Bishop. Bishop Blaylock and his wife Sheila are excited about the next dimension in their ministry here at New Life and abroad.
